Ciao. Non sono un transfuga da Reddit (lo uso ancora) ma sono qui per cercare nuovi contenuti interessanti e opinioni diversificate. Non mi sono iscritto per motivi ideologici dato non c’è nessuna “scatola politica” che si adatta appieno alle mie opinioni al momento. Ho una domanda per chi sarà così gentile da rispondermi: uso Linux Mint e vorrei sapere se si ha la stessa esperienza utilizzando il browser oppure se è meglio cercare in giro una appimage o flatpak da installare per avere migliori funzionalità come utilizzatore. Sul telefono ho installato Raccoon e sono soddisfatto della app. Un saluto.

@JogiDingenskirchen ich kann die Lemmy-Instanz #Feddit https://feddit.org/ empfehlen. Dorthin bin ich von #Reddit gewechselt. Am PC verwende ich dafür den Browser, auf dem Android-Handy #Jerboa von #fdroid https://f-droid.org/en/packages/com.jerboa/ . Es gibt aber auch andere gute Lemmy-Clients.

Can someone help a #feddit newbie? I tried to create an account on feddit.social, and it working ok, but after swapping out the avatar and banner a bit, suddenly I got an error message saying it cannot find my account, and the account may have been deleted or moved.

What did I do wrong? And who should I contact about that?

I dunno, the #piefed app wasn't working for me at all on my laptop, only on my phone. I made the mistake of signing out of piefed on my laptop and when I tried to sign in again, it said no such username exists.
