Walked outside to sit and read and there was a deer on the other side of the driveway. I said- hi, baby. Walked over to my chair and started reading. Meanwhile the deer is pissed she has been disturbed and I hear her snorting at me constantly. She hasn't moved so she knows I am not really a problem, but she is still making sure I know she is unhappy with me. My guess is she has a baby hiding out nearby. I will have to keep my eyes peeled for any fawns.
