Nothing I did before I cleared the screen is officially supported by anyone nor should it be; or objectively not a bad idea, at least in theory, depending on how we're looking at this; and I'll be damned if that wasn't the original plan, and if that wasn't also the original plan, respectively; and when you get an old phone for free and your even older phone is still working just fine, bricking the "new" one becomes a risk you're willing to take, simply because being willing to is the right thing to do.

Sanity is, by definition, doing something and expecting a result.

Der erste Versuch mit dem #IodeOS installer mein #Fairphone4 von #CalyxOs zu befreien, scheitert schon mal:

Ich hänge im #FastBoot fest. Jeder reboot ended im #fastboot

Jetzt meint der installer, das handy wird nicht unterstützt :(

Also mal die Manuellen Schritte probieren...

If you boot BashCore right after Windows and your Wi-Fi isn’t detected in nmtui, don’t panic, it’s not a driver bug.

Windows leaves the wireless card in a half-awake state due to Fast Boot.

Fix: disable Fast Boot in Windows settings → “Choose what the power buttons do”.

After that, Wi-Fi works instantly 👊🏻

@martijn_geerdes Dat is het absoluut. Wel kan ik er bij zeggen dat dit gedoe éénmalig is.
Ik kan je met dit gedeelte ook niet goed helpen: ik ben geen #macos gebruiker.
Het enige wat ik over deze stap kan zeggen dat het waarschijnlijk ook anders, en mogelijk simpeler kan. Houdt in de gaten dat het doel van deze stap is dat je een tweetal terminal programmaatjes kunt gebruiken om zaken te kunnen instaleren vanuit je laptop. #adb en #fastboot . Zoek misschien eens op die installeren op #mac .
