I stumbled upon this picture from 2022, when I spent a couple of days on the amazing island Fanø.
This picture is from the first evening. It’s taken at the southern part of the island.
Not only was the sunset otherworldly, but the atmosphere at the beach was even more special.
Sound seemed more intense than I had ever experienced before. You could hear people speak from far away, and the sound of the seals on a sandbank furher out in the Wadden Sea was so loud that it sounded like they were much closer.
And then, of course, there was this poor, stranded barrel jellyfish that I had to fit into the picture.

Perhaps you remember, there's a small and very good brewery in Denmark on the island Fanø.
Tonight I finally opened the "to Tusinde Tak" a imperial pastry stout by the Fanø Bryghus.
Well...
It's more than a mouthful of beer 😻😹 It's a very heavy, sweet, malty and smooth kind of a black dream with a bit of spirit (13%). I absolutely love it. Of course it's not for the thirsty, more like a wine. #craftbeer #beer #fanoe

I've been in Denmark in the last weeks. And I managed to come to the supermarket that has a fabulous beer Sortiment - and in this, the very good beers from the Fanø Bryghus (you can see the island, when you walk some minutes from the supermarket to the shore.)
This year, I got all the weddings 🤓 (last year it was only the white)
So this is the Red Wedding - an imperial stout aged in a red wine barrel. I smell the tannins more than I taste them, but it's a mouthful of taste. (Take small mouths full 🫣) Not to sweet, though really heavy. The taste is a bit like dark chocolate with red fruit in.
