I like looking at Twilestia art because I like goddess x little guy (gender neutral) ships, but I saw some people saying it was "weird." I saw people saying Celestia raised Twilight. Was that added in the later seasons? Or are people just conflating mentorship with parenthood? It's been a long time since I watched the show and I only ever watched the first part...

People can read what they like, obviously, but it's strange to me when people love gay fan-ships but never read actual gay romance. Like do you not know there's a whole genre out there catering to this? I love reading yuri manga... so I don't get caught up in fandom drama of "will this random character get confirmed lgbt?" When I want that, I'll just read a comic where all the characters are openly lgbt from the start... People act like these books don't exist. It's strange.

Sometimes, when I'm commenting on a fic, I forget that not everyone is a rabid multishipper like I am, and am about to make a joke about an apparent ship tease in their fic, then realize that it's a direct rival pairing to the one they wrote about, and it might make them uncomfortable if it's their Notp
