I think there's less point talking about #fans, #fandom, a #fanbases or #fanboyism for things where any individual discontinuing is insignificant to the brand/celeb/whatever enjoying #parasocial adoration.
Fans all cooperate and compete to be better apologists upholding figurative/literal shareprice for idols' value, even if they believe they are criticising an idol.
Where's the difference between fan, idoliser, and useful idiot?
