Thu, Mar 12: $299,896 for 2.4 million liters & over 10,000 meals!

"The situation in Gaza remains dire as borders closed for a few days last week, and now they are barely letting anything in. Today our team informed us that there is no meat left in the market and that gas prices for water trucks shot up due to the shortage. The military occupation is punishing Gaza due to the regional war that is occuring between them and Iran, and the most vulnerable end up paying the price. We pray for the victory against our oppressor and ask for your continuos donations and support!"

$108,978 for 93 tents in 3 weeks of mass displacement!

"Our last updates focused on food and water but today's update will be for the tents provided from around mid-September till the "ceasefire" date in October, which is October 9th. Prior to the "ceasefire" there were tens of thousands being displaced from the North to the South, so we accelerated our tent distributions during that time. Some tents were given to vulnerable families but most of the tents were set up directly by our team. The Sameer Project team would go to different areas and find families on the streets with nothing except their belongings, so would set up tents for them."

Wafaa is a mother of five children from Gaza. She lives with her niece, the only survivor of everyone in her immediate family. Because of our apathy and Israel's cruel desire to avenge itself by murdering civilians that never wronged them, 22 of her family members—siblings, their spouses and children, and her elderly, sick father—are dead.

Wafaa and her children still live because they were outdoors when their building was demolished by weapons our tax dollars funded.

Today, Wafaa and her family live in a tiny room they rent from an opportunistic landlord and horrible conditions. Not to mention the fact that her children are at constant risk of starvation.

I am a little worried about my not being able to pay my phone or electric bill, but there are not enough donations for all of us, and these people deserve it. Especially from the West that engendered the conditions which would result in the massacre of most of her loved ones.

Tuesday 25 nov.: $78,983 spent caring for our camps for 3 weeks!

"A big change in our camps has been the switch from daily food distributions to voucher distributions that range between 100-200 shekels ($30 - $60) according to vulnerability & family size. After the "ceasefire" prices of goods dropped as around 150 trucks enter Gaza daily with aid and commercial goods. The agreement dictated 600 trucks but the military occupation is not abiding to that to keep food prices high and also they mostly allow fizzy drinks and junk food to keep people malnourished."

"We will share with you the new families, the events, and support offered at the Refaat Alareer Camp recently. But most importantly what we must share is what has undoubtedly been the most challenging period of time managing and being responsible for a displacement camp, since we took on this serious endeavor July 2024. Since our inception we have faced drone attacks, temporary displacement, changing of lands, and extreme famine…but the ethnic cleansing of the North has been an emotional, mental, and physical toll like no other."

"The ceasefire has finally been announced providing Palestinians in Gaza with a huge sense of relief and pure joy. Unfortunately the loss and grief shortly sat in and people are processing the magnitude of pain they have had to endure for two years.

This is why the Sameer Project will keep going and keep providing relief and support to the Palestinians in Gaza for as long as needed. People have already started returning to the North and we would like to support them on their journey back on Rashid street by providing food and water."

"Despite the horror, the Sameer Project keeps going strong to provide whatever we can: food, water, tents, mattresses, tarps and more.
