Island senior 'felt like crying' when she learned her family doctor is closing his practice
Health P.E.I. confirmed Thursday that Dr. Craig Malone, who has been practising in Souris since 2018, is closing his family practice at the Eastern Kings Health Centre on June 26.

Today I learned that the Journal of Family Practice is ending. Its last editor died recently of a glioma. He was a mentor, teacher and friend of mine.

I wonder how long the specialty of Family Medicine (GP in UK terms) will survive. We did best in rural America and rural America is in very bad shape.
