People tell me that AI is not going to take my job, but it already did. I was a full stack web developer in the past, you know the guy who knows a little bit of everything. I can't really design my own web stuff, I don't know a lot of UX, I know react just enough to make a web app. And it's very similar on the back end. I haven't done a lot of database plumbing, I know a bunch of frameworks just enough to make it talk to the front end, do some back end rendering and APIs. Now AI does both of the things better than me. It can come up with a generic layout that's going to look 10 times better than I would. It has much more knowledge about databases and can provide instant fixes for common problems. But the worst thing about it, is that it took my job in a way one would never expect. In tandem with "agile" software development it gave people a tool of performance optimization of a ridiculous level. I did not feel at work on my last job, I felt at a factory, I had 0 power to make any decisions or manage my own work in any way, but had to meet 100% of the artificially created deadlines. Why is the project not done in one week? Have you used AI? Let's put you on a performance improvement plan, the micro management you experienced before is nothing compared to that fancy new ultra micro managementTM. I can't remember dev jobs being so soul draining merely 10 years ago.

In a nutshell:
1️⃣ Kritik an „Fake Agile“ & Kommerzialisierung – echte Agilität wird oft falsch gelebt.
2️⃣ „Back to Basics“: Agile Manifest & 12 Prinzipien zuerst verinnerlichen, dann Methoden wählen.
3️⃣ Agile Tech-Tree als Gedankenexperiment: Stufenweise von Manifest → Prinzipien → Frameworks.
❓ Welche Prinzipien holt ihr euch zurück in eure Praxis?

Pointing is finger pointing.
What is your take on the concept of
- Discovery-"Stories"
- Delivery-"Stories"
Any opinion on it? What problem is solved here?
To me, that smells a bit waterfally. Is it just me?

Claiming “we want agility”, then turning around and asking for the three month deliverable plan.
I can count on one finger the number of product people I've worked with that could answer "more than zero" to this question.
When your tax authorities are working on a national standard to "objectively measure the performance and output of Agile teams" and the workgroup only contains "Agile" coaches, CTO's, Release Train Engineers and other management/consultant roles you just know this is going to be another massive waste of government funds.
