The worst thing about growing up in Fairbanks, Alaska was this:
During the winter, if you fell asleep during the day, you'd eventually wake up with zero clue as to what time it was, and the time on your clock is no help either, cuz if it says 5:00, that could mean 5AM or 5PM, and up there, it's pitch-black outside at both of those times.
I worked around this by just never taking daytime naps. Only fell asleep at night when it was bedtime.

A few weeks ago, the university trails had their first bear sighting since IDK when. I think it may have reduced the number of users because it's rare to see no one while we're out there.
