I'm fascinated by #signs and #signage (hence an entire Instagram account devoted thereto). I'm also fascinated by objects that just persist, perhaps despite time, perhaps just because of inertia and benign neglect. Or, maybe this ice machine, which I'm sure was in this spot near Clinton Square in #Syracuse when we lived there decades ago, is even still in service for some unknown reason.

For people who loved yesterday's wonky #VinylSign, here's another great bit of curled vinyl, where the reason for the curling #sign was probably the heat of the now-absent neon – ironically, at the now-gone Troy Neon Sign Company. Gotta say, Cooper Black is a choice for outlining neon.
