Deep Listening Day #152 — The Kinks: Face To Face (1966). I like, but have never loved #TheKinks. this is probably my first full listen to #FaceToFace. it's regarded as the first great Kinks album. for me, it falls short of Something Else and Village Green Preservation Society.

However, any image that springs to mind when you think of the profession of "architect" needs to be immediately revised. He could be described as a kind of open-source architect and designer: He shares his designs with "the crowd," which is anyone who wants to participate – and lets people build and develop them themselves. He also finances many of his ideas through crowdfunding. His projects aim, among other things, to enable people with limited financial resources to create or crowdfund good furniture (he calls it "Hartz IV furniture"), houses ("Tiny Houses"), and fairly produced clothing ("Karma Chakhs"). Essentially, Van Bo Le-Mentzel is someone who gives people the push they need to empower themselves and realize their own potential. True inclusion, then."
