Edited to add: decision is made! I was totally torn before I made this post, and am now 100% certain I want the one on the right, thanks to all the helpful input from everyone who replied.

Finished making a new shirt for myself (no photo of it yet but I’ve put the manufacturer’s photos of the fabric below) but none of the buttons in my stash are suitable! I’ve ordered some possibles, but in the meantime I’m going to wear it anyway, over a t-shirt.

My stash of bright greens was depleted, so I picked some up for a quilt planned later in the year
Got a tone-on-tone yellow modern floral for the back of #InarticulateSunflower (and a blue for the binding because it used up a lot of blues)
Found this honey seashell for the back of #InarticulateAnning. Really wanted a dinosaur print, but not many of those are yellow and Mary is the inspiration for "She sells sea shells by the sea shore;" I think it'll work
I have been meaning to take photos of my new fabric before it became laundry, but I've been very busy, and the days I haven't been busy had been overcast and pissing rain; very bad light. So laundry it is.
Instead taking my own I shall post the store photos, a mini review of each piece, and what it's gonna (probably) become.

Without further ado here's my latest fabric haul!
The Closet Historian put out a Fabric Haul video from her London trip in April, recently. I just finished watching it, and I'm super excited to see what she makes.
But she said something that shocked the heck out of me. Fabric is SUPER expensive there! Some of the fabrics she could find in the States were double or triple in price in the shops there.
She did find some nice things, but I got a little curious about the pricing. I did a very basic search, and two things were common in the three pieces I found. The authors all said Brexit and Covid inflation.
I'm of two minds. I feel very bad for anyone in the UK that has to pay crazy money for fabric. But I also no longer feel bad for not being able to afford the pretty fabric I saw after some British YouTube recommended a shop. Pretty much no one can, which makes me feel bad again. It's a vicious cycle.

Good news: my fabric haul for this year has finally arrived!
Bad news: to my chagrin one coupon of jersey and a length of cotton webbing is red, yes, but much, much brighter than I expected and desire.
Good news: it's all cotton so it can be dyed
More good news: I happen to have the exact dye I need in stock
Bad news: that's gonna be several days of nothing but laundry 😭
