Got the battery box problem sorted out, tacked it to the frame then removed the wheels and hard welded the battery box frame and other elements that I had tack welded previously. After that I cleaned up the welds and I then made a grain-free but gluten-full pizza for the crew's lunch.

We started mocking up the beetle. I dyed and finished the stage.

Took it for a test trot. It was awkward moving while having to hold it stooped over. Would have been better to harness up Mateo and have him pull it.

Next we need to hard weld the mounts, drill the holes for the right side shock, and fix a wiring issue that affects the throttle function. It was working fine until it wasn't.
