Vinden het wel jammer dat mijn maat zijn #F1tv account niet meer kan delen.
Waren fanatieke kijkers, maar er zijn ergere dingen in de wereld.
Daarbij worden er tot nu toe al 2 races geschrapt en met de nieuwe regels en geklooi met de motoren, denk ik dat het voor veel abonnees met duur jaar abonnement, slikken is.
12 maanden dokken voor 22 races.

Interesting. Went to link my F1TV and AppleTV accounts. To my surprise, found that my AppleTV subscription had lapsed. They only offered me the monthly sub. I had to hop over to my Subscriptions settings and re-subscribe to AppleTV to get the annual option.
Regardless, the new system is cheaper than the AppleTV+F1TV options I was paying for separately. FOR NOW.

Okay so I was trying to get an F1TV subscription, but apparently you can only pay with credit card (CC aren't that common in the NL and I don't have one)

And after some searching, you can apparently also get it by Paypal from a Google Pay account on your smartphone.. which I don't use

So yeah. YARRRR 🏴‍☠️

(but I find it really annoying to have to watch choppy pirated streams - also I will miss all the races at inconvenient times that I can't watch live 😠)

Starting in 2026, #AppleTV will be the sole #f1tv streaming provider for the US. Direct subscriptions are no longer offered; existing ones no longer work! Nevertheless, there's no mention yet of pro-rated refunds from #F1.

Almost feels like a class action lawsuit waiting to happen… 😠

PSA for #F1 / #F1TV US Users

If you already have AppleTV, when you update and open the F1TV app they will ask you to link your AppleTV acct and automatically update your subscription to Premium. When you log in on the web, your subscription is also updated.

So, it seems folks in the US will still use the F1TV app to watch races.

Of course no communication from Apple or F1TV was received, found it by accident.
