A kid a year behind me in school had a match-and-gasoline experiment take a sudden unexpected turn, as they so often do, and the good news is that he suffered no permanent injury and did not burn down the detached garage. But he did burn off his eyebrows, leaving him with a curiously startled look for a few weeks. I had forgotten about that until Christoph Waltz in "The Zero Theorem", and then forgotten it again until just now.
