I started extreme ironing back in 1997, using the name Phil ‘Steam’ Shaw.
EI combines the thrills of an extreme outdoor sport, with the satisfaction of a well-pressed shirt.
From 2000-2004 extreme ironing kind of dominated my life, including tv appearances, a book, a world championship and a tour to the US.
