Google and Meta like to insist that only US and California law apply to them. Even when they have court orders from other countries.
They are probably doing this because they feel they need to respect a US EO.

Turns out, countries that complained so loudly about #extraterritorial killings in the #Nijjar and #Pannun cases have their own official elite hit squads.
Canada, grow a pair, and do something about the #Alberta and #Quebec #separatists.

Afghanistan's Defense Ministry says its forces hit several points inside Pakistan in retaliation for deadly airstrikes. Pakistan last Tuesday launched an operation to destroy a training facility and kill insurgents in Afghanistan's eastern Paktika province. The strikes killed dozens of people. The ministry said Saturday that its forces hit points “serving as centers and hideouts for malicious elements and their supporters who organized and coordinated attacks in Afghanistan.” Pakistan accuses the Taliban of not doing enough to combat cross-border militant activity, a charge the Taliban government denies.
Since #Israel assassinated #Hamas top leader Ismail #Haniyeh in an #extraterritorial strike inside #Iran, there has been pressure on #Qatar (where Haniyeh lived in luxury), to eject other Hamas representatives from there.
Now #US is accusing the group of rejecting the #Gaza #ceasefire and hostage deal and saying it will no longer accept Hamas presence in Qatar.
[Aside: Can #India say it will no longer accept the presence of #Khalistan #secessionists in #Canada? 🤔]

Khashoggi wasn't fomenting secession in KSA. Nijjar was doing that from Canada with impunity, and Canada refused to heed India's requests

Hamas' top political leader was killed Wednesday by a predawn airstrike in the Iranian capital, Iran and the militant group said, blaming Israel for a shock assassination that risked escalating into an all-out regional war. Iran's supreme leader vowed revenge against Israel.
BREAKING: #Hamas decapitated
Hamas says its leader Ismail #Haniyeh was assassinated in #Tehran by an #extraterritorial #Israeli airstrike.
Haniyeh left the #Gaza Strip in 2019 and had lived in exile in #Qatar. He was in Tehran for the inauguration of #Iran’s new president.
Israel has vowed to kill leaders of Hamas over the group’s #Oct7 attack.
Yehya #Sinwar, the top Hamas leader in Gaza who masterminded the Oct. 7 attack, is still in hiding somewhere inside Gaza.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says that Israel "will exact a heavy price from any aggression against us on any front.” It was his first public statement since the killing of Hamas' top political leader, Ismail Haniyeh, in an airstrike in Tehran. His comments didn’t mention the killing. Both Hamas and Iran quickly blamed Israel for the shock assassination that risked escalating into an all-out regional war. The strike came hours after Israel targeted a top commander in Iran’s ally Hezbollah in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
