For those who don’t know it yet, I highly recommend the interactive diagram editor Apparatus (https://aprt.us/). It is one of the most innovative end-user programming tools I have ever seen.

Today, I had fun building an interactive visualization explaining the concept of convergence of a sequence toward its limit. It only took me 3 hours, no LLMs involved.

I didn’t know that _scrollytelling_ as a term exists. If a page must tie content interactivity to scrolling, the best way is to use it to teach something!

I just remembered I've seen one of the interactive examples some time ago - https://tympanus.net/Development/StorytellingMap/, but I'd never tell that it was published almost 10 years ago on the great @codrops!

Personal blog. Notes not only about web development.

An interactive visualization of historical objects, connected through the prose and images displayed as a graph.
I like this kind of unusual interfaces!

Pictorial depictions of dress

Two collections form the basis for Restaging Fashion: the vestimentary source collection of the Berlin collector couple Franz and Frieda von Lipperheide and the textile collection of the Germanisches Nationalmuseum in Nuremberg. The latter influenced Franz and Frieda von Lipperheide to make their collection of paintings, miniatures, relief sculptures, graphic art, hand drawings, book art and secondary literature, which they had assembled in the late 19th century, permanent in the Lipperheide Costume Library and to make it available to the public for research purposes and as a sample collection.

A top feel-bad moment I've noticed in #BattleTech is when a player discovers the line of sight between units wasn't what they thought.

So a while back I made this interactive visualization or #explorableExplanation of BT LOS rules in #unity3d .

Suspect the video did more good than the tool, but not sure. An actual study would be fun if you know someone into that kind of stuff.

Here's the tool regardless, https://flechs.itch.io/floss

New toy! Use a small neural net to approximate an image or JS function. Also a quick way to check toy examples for vanishing gradients and other papercuts. Try it here:

https://pteromys.melonisland.net/neuralnets/

(To be clear, this is no image generator—only a tiny network, memorizing as much of its single input image as it can.)

Kind of #ExplorableExplanation except I didn't do much explaining; sorry.

Partly inspired by https://playground.tensorflow.org/ which is also educational about the inner workings of neural nets.
