If you forget to renew .com.au domain and lose website and email : Have a secondary email address like Gmail. Use a better domain registry with good support. Always use email not using domain that contact email is for. You can rebuild with different infrastructure. Have backups of website so you can restore it. Never go cheap and nasty. Always check for alerts around time of renewal. Check on auDA to see if domain is registered and needs renewal.
