Brief existence – Think for yourself T-shirt

This is another organic cotton T-shirt from our Scientist and Philosopher range that we have produced on the Teemill platform. I took this photo in Place de la Palud, Lausanne, Switzerland. A man was entertaining children by blowing soap bubbles. Against a blue sky it looks wonderful but the bubble only lives for a very short time. Taking this photo I have added Think for yourself to it because many people in so many situations do not think issues through. They are often told by others what to think and are not capable of critical thinking that is often looked upon unfavourably. This is very dangerous for the future of our own species as well as many other forms of life. (S&P)

A Brief Moment of Time

A revisit to my A Moment of Our Time – part 29 of the original work.

I read about the Spanish flu pandemic that started towards the end of the first world war long before I started writing this piece of work. I always thought that we would be hit with another flu pandemic at some point but was quite naive about the level of human stupidity that allowed the current corona virus pandemic to jump species. It really is down to the stupidity of cultural beliefs and we must ensure that it never happens again. So far the numbers of deaths are still far below those of the early 20th century flu pandemic but will they stay that way and the virus is still out there circulating.
