🇫🇷 Commençons par le commencement... Le quartier de la gare du Nord est caractérisé par les tours en verres du Boulevard Simon Bolivar et des autres grandes artères voisines, ce qui donne un petit air de Manhattan (voyons grand! - Photo 1) lorsque l'on voit ça depuis le monument au travail (oui, ça existe! - Photo 3). Sur la photo 2, on peut voir le canal et l'imposante gare maritime joliment restaurée et réaffectée pour des expositions et autres événements. Sur la dernière photo, on peut voir le canal de Willebroek et si l'on regarde bien, on distingue le clocher de l'église de Laeken où se trouve la crypte royale et une statue très célèbre dans son cimetière (Avez-vous la réponse?).
🇬🇧 As I have to begin somewhere, let's start from the railway-station and its district characterised by the glass towers on the Boulevard Simon Bolivar and other major neighbouring streets, which gives Manhattan atmosphere (let's think big! - Photo 1) when you see it from the monument to the workers (yes, it exists! - Photo 3). In photo 2 you can see the canal and the imposing former maritime railway station beautifully restored and repurposed for exhibitions and other events. In the last photo you can see the Willebroek canal and if you look closely you can see the bell tower of the church in Laken where the royal crypt is located as a very famous statue in its cemetery (Do you know which one?)
