#Sunday I tested out the public AC charging on the #EV with the Type 2 cable I bought from these guys : https://evcharge.co.za/

Apart from the usual app fiddling, charging went fine. had some cokes and cookies at the nearby #Coffee shop while waiting.

Also had a good chat with the #BYD Shark owner who was charging on DC.
Actually had to wait a few min because a BYD Sealion 5 was also charging when we arrived.

Most activity I have seen at this charger since I started the #EVLife!

Earlier this week, I took the first day trip in my Subaru Trailseeker to visit Mima Mounds in Washington state.

Since I really dislike the case that the adapters for NACS to J1772 and NACS to CCS1 that came with my Trailseeker (mostly because of the hook-and-loop piece on the bottom), I've just been storing both in the storage space under the arm rest.

Would be nice if there was a more elegant place for them that isn't the under floor storage in the back, but I guess it works for now.

Wheelbarrow checked-out the newly commissioned Ionity charger in Invernessy this afternoon. It's a bit more civilised than the Rose St carpark basement, for sure.

302mi round trip to Hopeman and back. Squeaked home with 15% SoC / 35mi remaining on the GOM.

Also found Clasach Fault / Cove. Very impressive normal fault in Permian sandstone.

Mercedes identifies as an EV. I needed a charge.

I identify as a person who found the local traffic warden and pointed them in this general direction.

A £60 love letter was attached to their windscreen but I still didn't get my charge 😡 I ended up at McDonald's on an overpriced DC fast charger because of this sanitary wipe.
