Sort of bad mood
Laying out all of those hand made outdoor heavy large round tikes _again_ in our garden to recheck how many that were stolen or smashed before they were to be permanently set in the art installation by a hired company. It got too late, freezing degrees. So I took them home for winter.
Will need to start making many more. So so dead tired. Wish the buyer could have kept them at their place. Lost count of the times I've packed and carried these around...

Cone 6 or cone 10, that's truly the question. I've done both but mainly cone 6. Then again, perhaps come 10 would be better in the long run and for tableware. (If building that wood fired kiln it will come naturally, but for all oxidation firings in my electric kilns?
What's your preference and why? What say you potter friends?

Anyway, question to all potters out there:
Are we sure they speak Orton cones? When I learnt ceramics (the era of dinosaurs walking the planet) I was taught that there are TWO different producers of cones that are as common as the other with totally different degrees...

Again testing Krita with my old but unused tablet (Trust TB 3700).
Just a start, might post results later today as I go in this thread. Now lunch and what not.
Not really (yet) getting the tablet to work with my OS, hoping to sort that out later. Headache so just playing around drawing for a while intead.
