The Muse of my morning

Nonexistent, until the shadows and silhouettes gather to form her.
She glides through the overgrowth, basket in hand.
Was she seen because she wished to be,
or did I catch her by accident,
midway through her quiet rounds?

She has always been.
The Muse — the eternal reminder, the quiet force
that invites others to reconsider their place in the world.

Through her, I see what others miss.
With her, I journey — inspired to bring attention
to the rarified beauty of the everyday.
Not for myself,
but so others might too awaken
from the noise within their own minds,
haunted by problems of their own making.

She is peace.
She is chaos.
She is nature itself —
water and air, calm and storm,
never captured unless she allows it.

Today, she walks among us.
Standing in the light but walking on the shadow,
She lets herself be seen —
a vision in her dress, thickly belted like a kimono,
small and serene among giant leaves,
making the mundane seem miraculous.

Tomorrow, she may return to the unseen,
to move mountains through invisible force.

She is everything, and everywhere.
If you cannot hold her tempest, she will wear you down.
If you are too rigid, she will not return —
for you cannot truly see her.

But if you are inspired to become her container,
her outlet,
all will benefit.

So look again —
do you see her?
