2 days ago I arrived back home after attending my third #EuRoC - European Rocketry Challenge. As usual it's been exhausting but absolutely amazing! We managed to launch our student-built bi-liquid (Ethanol/LOX) rocket Hedy to an altitude of 5336m. Unfortunately the main chute didn't fully deploy, but the rocket still remained mostly intact.
We have more footage but are all tired, so publishing will probably take a bit. For now it's back to #KDE Plasma 6.5 release work for me though :)
Is WüSpace launching #rockets now?!?
No, at least not yet. However, we have been invited by @ASTG to fly a payload on their hybrid #ispida rocket at @euroc_pt this year, and we would never say no to such an opportunity. Thanks for having us!
As the launch date is approaching, members of our #s2outh project have arrived in Portugal, and are preparing our video and telemetry system - "the cube" - for integration.

Die Hochschulgruppe TU Darmstadt Space Technology e.V. (TUDSaT e.V.) hat mit ihrer Rakete „FRoDO-M“ beim Wettbewerb European Rocketry Challenge (EuRoC) ein außergewöhnliches Debüt hingelegt. Bei der Veranstaltung, die im portugiesischen Ponte de Sor Studierendenteams aus ganz Europa zusammenbrachte, sicherte sich die Darmstädter Gruppe mit ihrer präzisen Flugleistung in der Kategorie „Drei Kilometer mit kommerziellem Raketenmotor“ den dritten Platz unter 26 teilnehmenden Teams.
