Getting our RV ready for winter (we’ve been living in it 6+ years at this point, and this’ll be our 3rd Vermont winter in the RV) and one of the maintenance tasks was to fix the recently broken MaxxAir fan. Somehow this gear component which attaches to the motor shaft to raise the fan lid had, well, essentially exploded. This is made of metal!

Fortunately a replacement part was only around $30 and easily installed.
