Canto a tenore (in Sardinian cantu a tenore) is a genre of Sardinian choral singing and artistic expression, of original and indigenous origin, of the agro-pastoral world. In 2005, canto a tenore was included by UNESCO among the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity and is therefore considered "Intangible Heritage of Humanity", given its uniqueness.
