Edese band ANKLEBITERS timmert al 4 jaar aan de weg en wist in die tijd een keiharde live reputatie op te bouwen. Moshpits vanaf het eerste nummer gegarandeerd. Op 3 april brengen ze hun tweede EP ‘Broken Porcelain’ uit en dit moet natuurlijk keihard gevierd worden met een show op 4 april in homebase Astrant! Met lokale rockband Five Minute March en Psychedelic rockband Centrepiece Colourised in het voorprogramma wordt dit een avond die je niet wil missen!

Het podium is voor ANKLEBITERS als een open veld, waar alle opgekropte energie van de dagelijkse sleur zijn uitlaat vindt. Gevoed door een gevarieerd punk-dieet, beet deze hondsdolle alternatieve punkband zich al vast in podia als Merleyn en dB’s en is het Edese vijftal nu klaar om een tandje bij te zetten op hun tweede EP “BROKEN PORCELAIN”

Five Minute March

Wéér 9 tot 5. Wéér de sleur. Wéér morgen. Five Minute March is om 6 uur de kroeg uit strompelen op een woensdagochtend. Schaterlachen terwijl je huis in de fik staat. Het uitschreeuwen, maar niemand die je horen wil.

Met snoeiharde gitaren en gierende vocalen neemt 5MM het één avond allemaal weg. Verlies jezelf in de moderne rocksound en meeslepende teksten van deze vierkoppige Utrechtse formatie.

Voor fans van: Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters en Queens of the Stone Age.

Centrepiece Colourised

Centrepiece Colourised is a five headed psychedelically fuelled beast of a band, combining mythical anthems with earth shattering energy to deliver an unforgettable requiem to the stage. Blending, bending and shaping different genres into their own
authentic musical concoction. One sip is all it takes to be utterly and overtly enchanted.

The writing proces starts on paper, with conceptual stories that later get shaped into songs. Their first album “Entering Yur Taghär” is one of these conceptual fairy tales given life. A story about how greed corrupted an ancient city, and how evil lurks behind surface level goodness.

Inspired by King Gizzard’s creativity and fun, Altin Gün’s psychedelic energy and John Frusciante’s rawness. Centrepiece Colourised creates their own world colour. Get ready to trip and mosh till you drop.
