Modern western-focused #EVs are too heavy, bulky, blob or brick-like, un-aerodynamic, and crammed full of uneccessary features. These characteristics lead to vehicles that are inefficient, expensive, and damaging to infrastructure. Not to mention, dangerous to pedestrians.
The space is wide-open for someone to make a sleek, lightweight, aerodynamic, BASIC EV and succeed. Something like the #Aptera but less vaporwarey.

There are 2 issues with Amtrack.
First they're clearly not willing to put any money in their "first class".
Microwaved frozen food on plastic plates, no wifi, restrooms worst than the public restrooms in Chicago Union Station (I kid you not)...

They identified plants, trees with characteristics they were interested in - plants which might interfere with development of farmed trees or their harvesting in national forests.
And researched the kind of forestry infrastructure investments which might usefully be targeted by the same.
And set about creating seed supplies, raising seedlings, to give to volunteers.
