I remember how magical Spotlight on OSX was when it came out and how quick the Linux community wanted to come up with something similar.

Decades later, I can't even remember when I found something meaningless on my computer, despite using OCR on everything on it.

Everything is so painfully broken and we accept every year a little bit more of it.
