Warum drücken Autofahrer bei Gelb am Ampel stärker aufs Gaspedal, anstatt den Fuß vom Gas zu nehmen?
Mehrmals die letzten Paar Wochen bin ich mit ein Kind beim Fußgängerüberweg-Ampel und müssen warten, bis ein Auto oder LKW vorbei rast, auch wenn für uns die Ampel schon längst Grün für uns gewechselt ist.

Close pass (Felt like less than 0.5 m) by a Fiat 500 (#BC_393PNJ) on Gorge Road in the gap between Harriet and Tillicum that doesn't have protected bike lanes yet.

8 obstructions in a single bike lane in about one and a half minutes. Also 2 fire hydrants blocked. Crosswalks with curb extensions are normally a good idea, but not so much when they force bikes to merge into car traffic. The lane in the top left is really more of a buffered shoulder that is shared with pedestrians (and BC Hydro trucks, and speeding pickups and SUVs that can't stay in their lane around a corner)
People go to Art Mann Park to enjoy the peace, quiet, birds and fresh air, not because they enjoy a monstrosity of a vehicle sitting there and idling. The stickers are certainly not fooling anyone.
The mallards and red wing blackbirds were quite pleasant until #WA_CEF3181 showed up though.

I should have taken a picture to shame this entitled piece of car brained garbage. She crammed her car half into a handicap parking spot, blocking access to the car that was legitimately parked there and half on the sidewalk, blocking access to the bike racks. or anyone who wants to get past with a wheelchair, stroller, walker, etc.
She returned while I was trying to extract my bike, and thought it was funny that I was upset.
