Endlich mal wieder ein schöner Jazz-Abend. Mit so viel KiBa wie ich ihn seit Mitte der 90er nicht mehr hatte – nämlich zwei.

Und ein dicker Seufzer, weil es in meinem "neuen" Stadtteil so etwas nicht gibt (den Jazz, nicht den KiBa).

Some idea just installed itself in my mind that I should re-listen to the album 'Set 'em wild, Set 'em free' by #akronfamily. It was a splendid idea. I remember seeing them live in cologne on that tour and it was a great experience and probably the smallest concert I've ever attended. They indeed were wild and free.

A grand don't come for free, is what I learned today thanks to The Streets.
Not really though. Still, this was what I mainly listened to today. British rap music that couldn't be any british-er. I love it, especially the surprising rocker Fit but you know it. Which was the song that put the Streets on my personal playlist a few years ago.
