Endrohrmemory (tailpipe memory) is a collection of the heartbeat of the Ingolstadt tuning scene. Exhaust coughs, acceleration rhythms and unmistakable sound impressions become pairs that seek each other, lose each other and find each other again.

Laid out like communion wafers, the sound modules wait to be touched and recognised. What begins as a game becomes a ritual: sound is shared, incorporated, remembered. An acoustic archive of acceleration, driving artistry and speed. Between workshop, parking lot, and exhibition space, a collective memory emerges—where engine sound becomes a form of confession.

Thanks to Motor Heroin Ingolstadt for support & sounds.

On view until January 18, 2026 as part of the exhibition "Endrohr Apocalypse" at Kunstverein Ingolstadt.
