inspired by @untrusem 's post i thought i'll make one for mysellf

#2025 was in many ways unpredictable for me, i had to go through things that i was not ready for and things that i cannot still process (won't be sharing much of that here). here's my 2025 at a glance,

the good

- i became relatively much more active on #fedi and #jabber (shoutout to @queerspark and other friendly people)
- i mapped much more on #openstreetmap this year (https://merveilles.town/@kishy/115707253330919782)
- i got more involved in communities at ​@fsci and @prav , submitted a grant request which got approved (thanks @fossunited )
- i've watched more #movies and i started to log and review on them #letterboxd (waiting for a federated alternative)
- i explored more genres of #music, and i've grown to love #dreampop (https://merveilles.town/@kishy/115665543219386691)
- gave a talk about #foss and started a #bookclub my at college

the not so good

- failed a lot of college classes and eventually took a gap year, unsure if i wanna continue with bachelors of technology
- wasn't able to build a consistent habit of #reading (desperately want to)
- spent most of my time not being productive due to my #mentalhealth (why is therapy so expensive wtf?)
- i could do better, socially

stuff i could do next year (or should i say this year)

- build myself a #homelab and a website, forreal this time (i'll be sharing my journey)
- do more nerdy stuff
- write a research paper with my prof
- figure out what i wanna do in academics
- go to offline conferences (waiting for kanpur #minidebconf )
- learn some language (preferably french, since i have some experience with that)
- get more involved in communities (beyond jabber), contribute more and make more friends (y'all are welcome to drop me a hi :D)

this was all from the top of my head, pretty sure i missed loads of shit
