Drei tolle #Dungeons entdeckt: "Completely Unfathomable" #dcc "Stonehell" #LabyrinthLord und "Maze of #Nuromen" #blueholme . #ttrpg #pnpde

Found this article "Rose Estes: On An Unstoppable Endless Quest" by J.Q. Graziano really lovely. Rose is the author of many of TSR’s Endless Quest books.

Rose Estes: On An Unstoppable Endless Quest

Today, Rediscovered Realms is honored to be speaking with Rose Estes – the very creator of TSR’s Endless Quest books, which were so monumental in drawing kids into reading and fantasy back in the early 80s. They were a gateway for me, a driving force for lifelong reading as well as a major inspiration for starting this newsletter.

Rediscovered Realms

I took my kids to the library yesterday, and while they were playing, I poked around the online catalog and came across Rose Estes's Endless Quest book Circus of Fear. (#10) In the 80s, I was a huge fan and collector of CYOA books, but I never really got into the Endless Quest series despite also being a huge #DND fan. So I put it on hold so I can check it out later this week. Nostalgia commence!

Day 10, my favorite tie-in fiction?

I haven't read a ton and it has been a while since I have read much. I generally prefer stuff that isn't directly tied in, though it may inspire games.

Given that, I read and enjoyed quite a few #DnD #EndlessQuest books as a kid. I remember loving #DungeonsOfDread, #MountainOfMirrors, #PillarsOfPentagarn, and #ReturnToBrookMere.

Endless Quest Books Choose Your Own Adventure! From TSR Rose Estes, Mike Carr

The Endless Quest gamebook Light on Quests Mountain was my favourite gamebook growing up and my first introduction to Gamma World. The cover completely gripped my imagination.

@Pollos_Hermario klar.

Endless Quest 01 – Dungeon of Dread

Tonight I read through Dungeon of Dread, the first book from the series, and made my way fairly quickly to one of the good endings. The writing can be awkward and it's a by-the-numbers fantasy story about a sword-wielding fighter and a cowardly halfling thief, but there are fun twists and overall it felt like a co
