Trying out orca slicer, coming from Cura.
Other than for some reason I can't get #octoprint display layer plugin working, octoprint shows warnings about missing gcode. Orca seems to be working nicely.
Decided to bust out my 3D printer and make some workshop accessories. Currently printing a dust hose reducer so I can get my table saw connected to the big dust extractor. I'm surprised it's printing tbh as I haven't used it in several years and just used the first PLA I could find, which happened to be an open spool... and several years old. Doesn't seem to be having any trouble with it though. I was sure it would need drying out first 🤷♂️
Went back to a 0.4 nozzle tonight and in the process I bumped the bed out of alignment. This is the worst part about older #3dprinters. Even with mesh leveling firmware, it can only handle so much skew before you have to manually adjust the bed screws. Tomorrow is going to be a fun day spent re-leveling the bed.

An organic design for an Apple Watch stand. I don't own an Apple Watch yet but I did bring it to an Apple store to test and it works well. Will not work with the watch bands that do not unclasp like the link bracelet. In the first photo I printed it in ColorFabb's CopperFIll, polished and applied a patina with salt and ammonia. Sealed it with some Renaissance Wax. I would love to see a lot makes on this. I plan on making a similar design that will include a charging doc for an iPhone.
