The FSC stands united with women across South Africa in the fight against gender-based violence, child abuse and femicide. Members joined the nationwide shutdown led by Women for Change, calling for GBV to be declared a national disaster.
COPACO marked the 16 Days of Activism with a powerful and engaging celebration aimed at raising creating a safe space for women to openly share testimonies about the forms of violence they have faced in their homes, universities, workplaces, and personal relationships.
Quote from IOM Afghanistan (@IOMAfghanistan):
Every woman and girl deserves safety, at home, in communities, and on the move.
This #16DaysOfActivism, we reaffirm our commitment to safe pathways, stronger protection, reduced risks, and dignity for every woman and every migrant.
Together, we can #EndGBV.
