Guess what? Workplaces are unsafe for women not because men & women are ‘made that way’, but because they operate in cultures that enable men to employ harassment as a way to protect their privilege when they feel threatened.

Same dynamic applies in other categories of social hierarchy - those whose privilege is threatened claim it as ‘natural’, until they can’t.

Isn’t time we all recognised the blinkers that come with our situated privilege, whatever that may be, and just grew up?

“Mapping Evidence-Based XR Experiences in Archaeology Education: A Systematic Review”

This study explores the use of Extended Reality (XR), including VR and AR, in archaeology education. Through a systematic review of #empirical research, it examines the relationships between specific XR design elements and different learning experiences and outcomes, suggesting that meaningful learning in XR depends not only on immersive technology, but on thoughtful instructional design that supports disciplinary thinking and skills development.
