This good girl put herself between me and the things that go bump in the night in the second living room.

Those things ended up just being the wind, but I’m not going to fault the bestest girl for doing her job protecting me from perceived danger.

Saw a first today. For me anyway. Employee (with non-visible disability) at a national chain retail store had a working dog with them.

Cool that said company is getting a clue. Hard not to though, there are laws, but as we know, they could just as easily make an excuse to not hire or let go.

Not cool that applying for and collecting #disability pay is so difficult. AND we are in the middle of a pandemic and #CovidIsNotOver

Experiencing anxiety about calling a local disability group to see if they have any info on getting an emotional support dog to help me with my various anxieties & PTSD.

I know of one way but it's a bit on the expensive side so I am hoping this disability group may know of a cheaper alternative.

One of the things that causes anxiety when I need to call a business is feeling like I am interrupting them & being a burden.

Been seriously thinking about getting an emotional support dog. It would really help me feel more safe when I am all alone. I don't feel safe going anywhere by myself & get horrible anxiety. A dog can help me if my PTSD gets triggered.

Today I was looking at the SPCA to see what kind of dogs they have available for adoption right now.
