#Dioptase is an amazing colour-changing pleochroic goddess of a queen that looks as stunning as #Tugtupite - or more so.
She well deserves a crown in #MinCup25!

An international 'crystal water' stone of mystery, it also went by the names of #achrite, #emeraudine, copper emerald or #kirghisite 🥷 👑
An amazing looking explosion of a starburst of a flower shape, The centre a turquoise colour, and the edges of the "blades" or petals of the flower in darker blueish violet colour, behind it darker still.
The lowest part white with flecks of yellow or gold, so it reminds you of space with its haze making for the starburst thought.
Very dark green lustrous dioptase crystals that look almost black. This is a night queen that sparkles. And makes for sparks if you heat it up, being pyroelectric AND phleochroic, changing colour depending on how you look at it.
#CopperSilicate (CuSiO3·H2O). Its lustre is vitreous, glass-like, to sub-adamantine, so talking Wolverine shit here, folks. 😅
