As per tradition, the season inspired me to do some manic elf shit, so I embroidered one snowflake each day of December like an overambitious advent calendar, and made it our tree on Christmas eve

I took photos of the daily snowflake and sent them to two friends each day, but "updating" the project on any kind of social media didn't feel joyful this month.

I DID want to share how it turned out with folks though!

I'm struggling a bit, today, not confident in my decision-making.

The Cat Smith is such a decided character, and I'm trying to bring him to life as best I can. I've done my best, but I I'm beginning to fear that if I do more it will just disintegrate.

I put in a few highlights, but maybe the thing to do is to leave well alone until he is placed on the final panel.
