There's #FalseEquivalence, but even #SimonHarris, #Irish PM, compared #Hamas to #IRA.

Most significant difference between them is that one is #eliminationist while the other was not.

#TheTroubles were a conflict between #Catholics and #Protestants on whether to separate from #UK or remain.

That's not what Hamas is trying to do. Its charter calls NOT for a separate state from #Israel but Israel's destruction

There are people in power who are actively pursuing #supremacy, which is the popular belief that some people matter and all other people do not matter and aren’t even fully people, and probably need to be eliminated for the safety of people who matter.

These supremacists are enacting all the violence and menace and harm and abuse that always attends supremacy, because supremacy—a human spirit that believes most people don’t matter—is always inherently #eliminationist and therefore inherently #violent.

And they are almost always doing it in the name of a desire for some good thing—in fact, in the name of the exact opposite thing that they intend; in the name of the exact thing they are working to destroy.

So I conclude that fascists and other supremacists find themselves easily able to claim to hold any beliefs at all—even beliefs whose goals they are actively working against—because their only real belief is in their own supremacy.

Israeli military forces have killed more medics than Hamas commanders, with hundreds of documented attacks on medical facilities, ambulances & personnel.

Combined with deprivations of food, clean water, shelter & energy, the collapse of the health system in #Gaza means devastating epidemics approach.

Senior Israeli government figures have openly been using #eliminationist language.

Giora Eiland, former #IDF operations chief & current defence advisor, wrote this in a major 'centrist' newspaper in Israel: "The international community is warning us against severe humanitarian disaster and severe epidemics. We must not shy away from this. After all, severe epidemics in the south of Gaza will bring victory closer. There's no reason why the Hamas generals in southern Gaza wouldn't surrender when they have no fuel, no water, and when plagues reach them and the danger to the lives of their family members will increase".

To which the current finance minister replied: "I agree with every word".

The goals of #Israeli leadership go well beyond merely targeting #Hamas. That line, endlessly repeated by western governments & media, is PR for a modicum of #PlausibleDeniability. According to many recognised experts in such matters, the goal of this conflict is #EthnicCleansing and #genocide.

This video is very long (nearly two hours long), but it pretty exceptionally lays out the evidence for the #bigots in the anti-#trans movement being contemporary #Nazis.

This isn't an "everybody I don't like is a #Nazi" situation. This is an "anti-trans bigots literally believe that a secret #cabal of #Jews is bankrolling the #LGBT agenda" situation. They aren't people with "just a few concerns," they're demagogues who are lying in order to effect a #genocide that they currently talk about as their literal endgame.

Yes, even J.K. #Rowling, who has personally offered to bankroll (ironically) the legal efforts of a trans #eliminationist.

It's nothing new; trans people (not to mention Jewish people) have been talking about this for decades. But if the evidence of your own eyes and ears won't convince you, just come out as a Nazi already. If these people get what they want, once you're a part of their #authoritarian regime where trans people are either converted, incarcerated, or killed, being a member of their party will be a requirement, not an option.

The time to wake up was several years back, but showing up now (as late as it is) can still be helpful to those of us who aren't already dead.
