@celeste_42bit Granted, any microwave weaponry I'm aware of either acts to commit
#ElectronicWarfare as an active #jammer or as a
"#LesserLethal" pain-inducing option to disperse protestors, because a burning sensation on the skin will likely make people flee out of the sight (= theoretical maximum target range) of the source, which is the idea of said weaponry: To act as
#AreaDenialWeapon of higher precision and less lingering effects and cost compared to say
#TearGas (which is imprecise and requires one's own troops to put on protective gear!) or even
#Landmines (which are only effective in a defensive arrangement, necessitating area control at laying - plus they pose a danger to friendlies so they only work in scenarios like the Siege of Sarayevo and the Attack on Khe Sanh where lethal force is not only authorized but we're way beyond
"Civil War" at that point.
