In modern shopping, it's hard to find a good salt substrate. Virtually everything has sodium levels brought down, to be healthy under circumstances that used to be normal. Even salted nuts aren't as salty as they're supposed to be.
But I found an exception, and got some hyper-salty salted salmon for the hyper-hot days of the summer. Ironically, it's that way because it's cheap, since salted salmon in a jar can be shipped without needing the full cold chain.
