I got a smart electricity meter early this year. Mandatory. All good. Easy. Free. Cool. My supplier gets 5 or 30 min use updates.

Yet... their app only shows information from 2 days ago. They can only give a 2 week estimate for when my meter will be read & bill generated. What the?

This rant brought to you by the surprise of seeing a meter reader doing the rounds. Maybe smart meters weren't so mandatory. 🤷

Unbelievable. Garages here are on a shared meter. If I want to charge an #EV vehicle from home I need my own meter which only #SPEN will do. My garage is right next to the existing #ElectricityMeter and the existing power cable. Cost of the new meter, excluding charger? £4k. Can't afford it.

PIN entered into meter using light flashes from torch to make smart meter function available. Changing to Tibber hourly pricing ASAP.
