I haven't installed conduit or used a cyclone bender in around a decade, but it was almost like I never left.
I recently installed some inch and a half EMT, among other things on a short call I took.

Something tells me someone asking "should the circuit breaker spark like that?" is not something either an electrician or a home inspector wants to hear.

I have one circuit in my house that runs 3 overhead lights and a wall outlet. Yesterday, it suddenly threw the breaker, nothing weird was happening, I was just sitting there.
After a bit, I managed to narrow it down to one hanging light fixture, which was installed a year ago. You can see in the video - I first check that the light bulbs are good in a different fixture, then I try to screw them into different sockets in the chandelier while it's energized. When I do that, an arc happens and the circuit breaker is thrown. Happens in all the sockets.
Again, NOTHING has changed in this circuit, this chandelier has been sitting there like this for a year, and all of a sudden, this. Why?
Ok. Again, not a flex or brag, but people sleep on the building trades as a viable option.
Here is a paystub from 2014 where I netted $2370 in one week working like 6 tens and an 8 or something.
Yes I worked many hours that week, but there was a sense of urgency as always.
You don't always have to work around the clock, but the work is there if you want it.
There is room for you.
This is not a flex... at all. I found an old paystub from 2017. I only worked three 8 hour days that week.
At $36.10 an hour in 2017, I netted $678.88.
I left the trades for awhile, but I'll be returning soon.
I'm showing this to show that you can make a decent living working with your hands.
You don't have to be a genius. You're always learning. It's not all grunt labor.
You get to a point where you're paid more for what you know than what you do.
