‘The Return of the King’: Trump Embraces Trappings of the Throne
Restored to power, President Trump claimed that God put him there and asserted the right to single-handedly redraw the world map as he sees fit.

Inside the mind of MAGA: a conversation with Steve Bannon | The Economist Insider
Steve Bannon, former White House chief strategist, has a worldview that contradicts that of The Economist. He’s a populist nationalist; this publication is classically liberal. But liberalism demands dialogue with those who oppose it. And as liberal values retreat worldwide, understanding Mr Bannon’s ideas—which have animated many people on both sides of the Atlantic—has become essential.
Zanny Minton Beddoes, our editor-in-chief, and Ed Carr, deputy editor, sit down with Mr Bannon in his home in Washington, DC to ask about how he envisions progress, power and America’s place in the world. They discuss what the MAGA movement is trying to create, whether America is at risk of civil war and why he’s certain that Donald Trump needs—and will achieve—a third presidential term.

Bannon Claims ‘There Is a Plan’ for Trump to Run for a Third Term
The claim comes after months of President Trump toying with the idea, insisting that he is “not joking” about defying a constitutionally-mandated term limit.
