*Slightly* misjudged the distance in today‘s run. But it was great fun to explore a new route close to my parents-in-law. It snowed quite a bit overnight, thus it was a run with *extras* (like lifting my feet way higher than usually for a substantial amount of time). And yet, it really was a fun run, I even stopped in the middle of Eichstätt to take these pics. One of my swifter runs during this fall/winter season. Apart from one 2 km climb up from #Eichstaett to #Pieting it was an overwhelmingly flat run. Chill factor was high at the start and low at the end (4 kms in the blazing sunlight). My audiobook was entertaining, I was in good spirits. Now there‘s only 68 kms left until #10000in2025 – yay! 98 kilometers to go until #10000in2025 – it’s rather cold, but I liked this run: once around #Eichstaett and that little excursion to the Roman fort near #Pfuenz (see earlier post). But the day wasn’t yet finished (see next post). #applewatchultra3 #goals

Today‘s morning run went past this Roman fort near the small town of #Pfuenz in #Bavaria (close to #Eichstaett ). It was such a lovely sight, I had to stop several times while approaching the location for pics from different angles. Timing and light were just right. Other places have Wi-Fi, #eichstaett has EI-FI… 😜 (I‘ve ran past that car at least 10 times in recent years, and each and every time I thought the same, but it was today, I just stopped and took the picture…) #humor #Running
