This blog by RFSysadmin saved my #Proxmox install after the upgrade from 8 to 9. It seems like the #EFI boot sequence got blasted in the update (i thought, i was careful) and proxmox 9 rebooted into the BIOS.

Long story short: Boot into the rescue enviroment (login is your root login)
fix the EFI settings like mentioned in the blog

When I setup a GELI encrypted disk on #FreeBSD and boot into that I have to enter the GELI passphrase. But it seems to be a US layout used in that #EFI console - can that be changed?

Egal ob Dock-Firmware, EFI oder sonst etwas - FW-Aktualisierungen waren nie einfacher.

Donc le mot de passe sur l' #EFI, sur un #MacPro (jusqu'à 2010) ça se supprime simplement en changeant la configuration de la #RAM (ajout ou suppression d'une barrette) suivi d'une réinitialisation de la #PRAM 😳 !
